Do you guys mind if a girl goes to a tanning bed?

The question says it all. I mean do you guys think its unnatural and a turn-off?

I go there and I don't overdo it but I'm never sure whether or not to tell a guy that I go there or leave him thinking I'm naturally tanned?

Turn off for me as well for the mentioned reason by WeaponZero but also because I like women (and I can tell you right now most of my male friends feel this way as well) who are confident in themselves the way they are, changing only the things that can be done so naturally, like getting toned by exercising or what not. And to be honest with you, here's a little secret, guys don't really care if you're pale or not!

Most males are not as shallow as most females (and there's research that backs this up) thus, we don't really care about such minut deals as your skin being a few shades too light. I would assume a woman would be more likely to harshly judge another woman's shade of skin tone before any man ever would, because women generally tend to "dress up" to compete with any other women rather than to really impress men.

So, I guarantee you we're just happy to have a girlfriend with nice skin that's smooth and soft and smells good, yum!

For me?..It is a turn off but not a deal breaker...lol...I would be a total hypocrite..I have psoriasis so I tan or sun most of the year...but like a lot of guys...I am fine with brown (black?) skin if it is natural...but white is good too and really brown white girls don't do a lot as far as appeal goes...eh...I could deal but I would try to persuade you to slow it down..maybe tan for 1/2 of the year in summer..would that be OK?

thanks for your answer :) and yeah I also go to the tanning bed during winter but like 2 times a month so it looks naturally and I wasn't sure to tell this one guy who also goes there that I do but looking at all the answers maybe I don't tell him lol

honesty is usually the best pathway...but you don't tan alot

I doubt most guys won't know you do this. Especially if the tan is even all over, it's pretty obvious. So don't worry about telling him. It would be more honest and that might impress him

To most guys tanned skin isn't any better or worse looking than untanned skin - in the short run. Of course, in the long run you're going to look more leathery than those who did not tan, which isn't attractive at all. I think tanning is one of those things girls do not to impress guys but to impress their girl friends.

In any case, it has been made abundantly clear that tanning is pretty damn unhealthy, and thus doing is betrays some messed up priorities which is itself a turn off.

I don't mind as long as the color ends up looking natural. And I'm a fan of no tan lines, so yeah.
