Could I have damaged my ear drum?

I was cleaning my ears out with ear buds and I accidentally put it in to far,it really hurt and it still hurts..Now I'm worried I've done something too it lol.It hurts a bit when I eat too :/

Well seeing as how you're not supposed to put things in your ears, and you were using ear buds of all things to clean your ears out with, then yeah... you may have done something to hurt your inner ear. Probably not your ear drum. But you should go to your doctor just to check, especially if you're in pain.

Oh! I thought you meant ear buds you listen to music with. Thank goodness I was mistaken.

So yeah, usually when you use q-tips like that, ear wax can really get built up, especially since they're round and can't get the best hold on ear wax.

If you go to a doctor you can ask them to check out the inside of your ear and maybe even clean it out for you. I had this problem a couple years ago and the doctor I went to used a small stick to clear out my ears and it was such a blessing.

You may have just bumped it, I would wait on it until tomorrow or maybe the day after, but if it gets worse or it doesn't get better, then I'd see your doctor.

Yes... you easily could have sorry. You shouldn't be going so deep, in fact I would advise you grip a part of the ear buds to stop yourself going in so far. My sister done something similar and her ear eas bleeding, you should seriously go get it checked out to avoid further damage

If you just give it a little bit of time, it'll likely feel better... Try playing drums/live gigs through a LOUD sound system. Pretty sure I'm the one here with damaged ear drums... lol

Don't stick things in your ears! you probably only compacted your ear wax it hurts and sounds gross but it's a lot better than a ruptured ear drum should be fine in the morning. if it isn't I'd see a doctor about it.
