i go to the gym about 5 times a week, after about one month I gained around 1.3 kg of mass & from 6.8% to 7.6% body fat,
some people advise me to take protein shakes while others don't (like my parents), I read about them on the internet, one of their disadvantages is that any high protein diet makes the blood acidic, so to neutralize it takes calcium from the bones.
1- if I gained muscles quickly, will I lose them quickly if I stopped training? (like easy come easy go principle)
2- I heard that if you stopped taking protein shakes, you'll need to keep exercising for more 3 months to consume the protein so that it won't become fat. So is that true?
3- if I took more than I need, will it convert to fat?
4- what's the best kind of protein shakes? is it whey protein?
5- is it true that protein shakes give you size, but if you built the same amount of muscles without supplements you will be stronger?
6- what do you think of this Dr.'s opinion on whey protein?
