Does Gum Receding reverse?

I noticed quite recently that two of my front teeth have receding gums! I researched and found out why and its because I have been brushing them too hard!

my gums look very healthy and so do my teeth but two of the front teeth (the bottom canine and the one beside it have receded due to hard brushing! can this be reversed and can anyone advise me if it will naturally heal back by itself if I go gentle and how long should it take?

I had the same thing happen though mine was due to brushing 4 times a day. My dentist told me only twice unless extreme circumstances like being ill (sadness). They didn't grow completely back but most of the way and it took a couple months. Hey at least I had great oral hygiene for a while lol.

oh do you know if there is anything I can buy that may speed it up the recovery or just tell me if they will grow back fully even if it takes longer then a few months. there is the one tooth that has receeded slightly below where the contour is that the gums have reeceeded below

I don't know of anything to buy. My dentist told me it would heal but not fully it can only recover so much.

You can have your dentist refer you to a specialist for what is called a Gingival Graft. This helps regrow gums that have receded.

But gums can also grow back on their own. And even buying a gum stimulator can be helpful. You find them for relatively cheap.
