How long do you have to work to buy a big mac?

There is this thing where you can compare your salary worldwide by calculating how long you have to work for a big mac. It's extremely accurate because it's cost has a lot of factors in it. So you have to use your own income per hour work (net) and compare it to the price of a big mac in your region.

For instance:

If a big mac costs $3,-

And you make a net wage of $9,-

It will take you (60 / 9) * 3 = 20 minutes.

0 - 10 minutes

11 - 20 minutes

21 - 30 minutes

31 - 60 minutes

I have to work longer for a gallon of gas than a big mac, though ... and I think that's a more important factor, since I commute 45 minutes each way because there isn't much affordable housing in a safe area any closer. America needs to have mor affordable, safe housing close to the job markets!
