Guys, would you date a woman who has had plastic surgery?

I want to see how people really feel about it because I want to get a nose job. Not to change the shape or size of it, but to have my nose straightened out. That's all.

I think I am attractive even with my slightly crooked nose. However, I It would make me so happy to look in the mirror and see just ME, and not an asymmetrical nose. Ever since puberty when it got crooked, it has bothered me.

I am just afraid that while dating, if it comes up, they will be scared away, even if the nose job is barely noticeable. I don't want to keep it a secret from them, because to me it isn't a big deal. I had my teeth straightened with braces, why not make my nose straighter too?

i don't want to change anything else, just that. Is that still a turn off?

And please don't say "love yourself for what you are" blah blah blah, I DO love myself. My nose is not a reflection of who I am. My heart, my mind, and my personality are not reflected by the body I am in. Why should I have to accept something that happened to me while I was going through puberty? And if it bothers me, why should I have to deal with it?

Well it would depend on her mental state and intentions... if she is still having self esteem issues severe enough to need plastic surgery (probably true for most patients) I would say no. If she did it as a way to get a payrise or a better life... I may think about it. I mean, I don't hate on the need for upward social mobility. But in all honesty, if a girl who had plastic surgery (assuming it worked and she is really pretty now) wants to date me, I would take it as a big compliment :) Girls probably get plastic surgery to go for that great guy too.

I don't have self esteem issues at all. I am actually a pretty confident person. I work within the beauty industry, as well as attend art school, where I am forced to focus on facial features all day long. I appreciate a beautiful face. I think I am a bit of a perfectionist because of this, and would love to see my face the way it used to be, before puberty, when everything was symmetrical and straight. It would just make me happy to not have that one thing that bothers me.

For me it's not about being "natural" or pure or whatever. It's about how it looks. And if the surgery leaves visible scars or looks like it's fake it's going to detract from the girl's attractiveness. This is especially visible with the fake beach ball looking boobs.

I'd say if you really want to get one, just make sure you get it a good and proven doctor. I'm guessing that other people don't think it's nearly as bad as you think it is because that's generally how these things go

And to be honest, some plastic surgeries are bigger turnoffs than others. For example, fake boobs would be a total deal-breaker. A nose job that's hardly noticeable wouldn't scare me away if I was already into the girl.

I'm not ugly at all. If I was ugly I would want a whole lot more than a little bit of a tweek on my nose. Especially since I still want to look like me and not even have others really notice it.

Everyone has some type of imperfection. You are trying to tell me that you are completely flawless? And every girl you have ever been with was completely perfect? Never even had braces? I find that hard to believe.

I am just choosing to tweek my flaw. I have the money to do it right now If I wanted to, so it isn't like I am saving up every penny I earn to fix my horrendous face. Wanting perfection isn't about me being very insecure. It is about wanting more. I bet you are a solid 5/10 at best.
