I work in a field that people are really tough. We work long hours with little sleep at times. We work hurt and sick. I really admire them at times and because of the admiration I push through when I am so tired I don't think I can go on. It really builds your endurance in every aspect of your life. I really love my job and the people I work with they are truly awesome. We have a lot of fun to. I bet there are very few people who can say they all did a primal scream together in there place of employment...I did with my group and it was wonderful. If you are curious what I do for a living well...I am a surgical nurse. Tough as nails and ready for action. Love my job.

Keep in mind, that those people are out playing sports because it is their job. Quite frankly, one should be resting while their body heals itself.
Well, yes and no. Yes, you can do light workouts without impacting further on your immune system. But, no, because you can spread it, and vigorous exercise can temporarily suppress your immune system.
It's OK as long as you not over due it. A little exercise can help sweat out some of the flu, but for the most part it's good to get plenty of rest.

If you have a cold/ flu (and you don't have a temperature or are throwing up) I would say go for it but if you feel like you are about to drop dead go home.
If I'm sick, I still work out. I still run. Sweat it out is my motto.
I would say no. It seems smarter to let your body HEAL.
No way exercise reduces immune system resistance
If you are up for it, why not?
It's good to sleep
