Does it really work? Side effects?
Supposedly it helps you lose fat?
As mentioned below, that particular type of pill means fat goes straight through you. A friend of mine tried them. Her farts used to stink to high heaven and she once left an unfortunate gift in a gentleman's bed. She went to the toilet way more and usually in a bit of a hurry.
From what I understand, your poop is super gross too.
True to its word, she didn't put on any weight but she wasn't particularly heathly.
If you're worried about physical appearance, a healthy lifestyle choice is more attractive than an oily skinny pill taker. Commit to slimming down with a healthy meal planner (I'd reccomend 5 smaller, balanced meals) and a good cardiovascular work out. The endorphins from exercise are amazing!
Most guys you'd want to keep around will attest to healthy girls being better than skinned unhealthy girls. And my friends and I can attest to how much we wish we didn't know the details of the oily mess on that guys sheets and I'll bet any good money my friend wished she had greater control there. But the problem with oil is that it can't be held back, because it doesn't hold very well.
I hope you make a healthier, less gross choice but they do keep fat off.
oil skinny pill taker, hahahah that's hilarious
and horrible.
Thank you.
Stay happy and healthy :) and not oily.
Diet pills are bad news. I tried some way back when I was only 16 years old and although I lose weight (about 10-15 pounds), as soon as I stopped taking them, I gained it all back. You're better off going with a body detox system and going to the gym to lose fat. I do detox systems once a while, especially if I haven't been on track with my healthy eating. For example: I usually do them after I come back from a long vacation.
But the best way to lose fat is cardio. It doesn't matter what type of cardio you do, as long as you're increasing your heart rate.
Yes some diet pills can work. But before you decide talk to your doctor about it. Diet pills can have some serious side effects and are bad for the body, especially if abused. So if you really can't just try doing it the natural healthy way by eating more nutritious foods and exercise then please take precaution if you decide to use pills. And again befor you start taking any talk to your doctor to help you figure out which type would be best for you and how you should take them. Because again diet pills can be dangerous and have bad effects on the body. Maybe even try some natural dietary supplements instead, they can work just as well with less health hazzards. But even with the natural supplement it's best to talk to your doctor first to see the right amount your body can handle.
Ali or Orlistat was once an oral steroid. The old Ali blocks 100% of the fat you eat. That's why bodybuilders or gym rats live in the gym with a bathroom lol, and there diet was like McDonalds, they didn't get fat because of Ali.
The new Ali, is FDA approved. Its a safer version, it blocks about 25-50% of the fat you eat. Does it work? yes it works.
It does NOT burn fat, but it BLOCKS fat from being stored. The side effects are oily discharge from farts, and irritable stool movement. Why is this a side effect? Because Ali has blocked fat and your body has nowhere to put it but out.
:D So it does work. I think I'll try it then. Thank you
It doesn't block fat from being stored in your body. It interferes with the lipase enzyme preventing it from breaking down triglycerides in the digestive tract into monocerides and FFAs... You can still convert glucose (carbohydrates) into fats (triglycerides) if you eat too many calories.

Hahaha, diet pills...
Well - how far some people are ready to go..
I'll tell you a little secret - all diet pills which your government allows to trade are just a scam with 'placebo' as the main ingredient, check also if there's a note: must be used along with working out/diet to "enhance the effect"
Maybe there actually are some diet pills which worked, but they're unavailable for a very darn good reason! Your government has banned them, because they got extremely harmful side-effects. Think about it - a pill which DISSOLVES your fat cells - can you imagine how dangerous can be their misuse or from WHAT that kind of stuff could they be made?
But probably such thing was never made, maybe those are just urban legends.
-Diet
-Working out
..is your plan. Don't sit on your ass all day, don't ever even look at McDonalds, cut all junk food & replace it with fruits and go out and run! ..but as it's winter now - then buy a gym membership instead!
THERE'S NO OTHER WAY!
Yes! I can do all that, but wouldn't incorporating a diet pill help me lose the fat that much faster? Regardless of what it's made of, If I work out AND take a diet pill it would make the process faster. Wouldn't it? I'm just asking which work and which don't.
But how do you know? Did you try any before?
scary
Common sense: even if a diet pill does work, you're going to gain the weight back when you stop taking them. And you can't take them forever because it's awful for your actual health (shouldn't that be more important?)
I suppose you have a point. But once I lose the weight with help from diet pills, I could just keep watching what I'm eating and keep exercising as to not gain it all back.
There are no quick fixes.
Diet pills are sh*t and you will gain any weight lost on them back the minute you're not taking them anymore.
Commit to losing weight and becoming healthy. Way better for you and the results are much more rewarding(plus you're more likely to continue being healthy)
Don't do diet pills, your going to waist money to damage your body and not have any results. Diet pills are just scam, and as long as its approved by the FDA, companies can say whatever they want to sell their ineffective and harmful drugs! Diet and exercise is the only way!
seyasianboy says bodybuilders use them... I don't think they want to damage their body.
Don't listen to that dude, I put him on the spot several times and he didn't even want end up looking stupid. Just because your certified doesn't mean you know anything. Trust me on this, I really do know what I'm talking about, diet pills will not work. Physicians know way more then a low end certification!
You made yourself look stupid kid, that answer was upvoted in my case. You "claim" to be a Physician, I call bullsh*t. You are 25 years old, there's no way someone that age can get an Bachelors and a Doctorates of Osteopathic Medicine= which is required to be an American Physician. I am not a Physician myself, but I saw that requirement when I got my licenses and certifications to be a fitness trainer and dietician. Stop lying to yourself lol
As someone who was on diet pills years back, I would advocate to people to NEVER go on them as they are completely dangerous to your health. I gained all the weight I lost, and MORE, and I remember how f***ed up it was. The only way to do it is by diet/exercise. I had to learn the hard way.
Which pills did you take?
I was on the pills called Xenical. It was promoted as being a safe weightloss pill, but over time I realized that all of them are complete bullsh*t pushed by the pharmaceutical industries to get money. I was dropping too much weight too fast, and when you do that to your body, it IS dangerous.
Most diet pills don't work unless you get a prescription. Even then, they are to be combined with diet and exercise.
