Teeth?

My friend has gapped teeth. She hasn't had a boyfriend for a while and she thinks that they might be a problem. She is beautiful besides her teeth. Are her teeth effecting her love life?

If so, she should keep the gap in her teeth until she meets the right guy, and in this way she'll know he's the right guy. If she's otherwise attractive (even not), and men shy away from her for such a shallow reason, she really doesn't want these same guys coming around after the dental problem is repaired. I wouldn't care in the least about such a small problem, as it's not germaine in any way.

Aww, that was such a nice comment. I also have gaps in my teeth and it bothers me alot. and I don't have any money to fix them :(

Actually, though you're probably too young to remember them, I used to have a thing for one of the Pointer Sisters. She was the one who had a gap between her front teeth. So in reality, some women are even MORE attractive gaps and all. It's like the actress Jennifer Beals and her nose. She had a large probiscus, yet made a hugely successful movie and became a big star. She then got a nose job, and her career fizzled.

It definitely might be. There are some guys, myself included, that look at bad teeth as a turnoff. This isn't true of everyone, though, so it's not like it will totally ruin her chances. If she focuses on being comfortable with herself, she'll give off a good vibe and there will be plenty of guys who will see right past her teeth once they get to know her. Maybe they'll even think it's cute.

I don't think her gap is effecting her love life. I know many people who find gaps attractive. She may just be in a normal dry spell. If her teeth bother her a lot she should look into invisalign or something to correct it. I personally think things like that give someone's face character.

If it is the gap, then I think she should just find a guy who loves her for everything else. Because that is only a minor problem. Of couse it 'looks' bad but I know a lot of guys who go out with girls with bad teeth or even just plain janes... they should accept her regardless of that.

I wouldn't have thought that would bother guys. I would have thought some guys would even think that's cute! A gap in the teeth isn't a huge deal. But looking at the guys answers maybe they are bothered by it.

It can be an issue. A lot of guys want a girl with a decent smile. Some guys won't care. I highly doubt that is the only reason she doesn't have a boyfriend. It can cause less guys to be interested though.
