Homemade treatments for acne scars?

I have a couple of scars that I would like to get rid of. I guess I could ask my dermatologist, but I don't really want to pay for an appointment if there's a cheap, but effective way to get rid of them that you guys know of.

I use toothpaste, for emergency pimples.

Just put some on the pimple itself, then go to bed. You may want to cover the pillow, I do when I have to do this. Toothpaste dries out pimples better and faster than anything else I've ever used.

I usually only get pimples during my monthly visitor. I use Clean and Clear and it seems to keep my skin clear most of the time :-)

Sorry, to clarify - the combination of those two is what keeps me from getting acne scars and what makes them go away (Clean & Clear). Also, I sometimes use the Clean & Clear lotion... soothes and evens skin tone. Minimizes the looks and feel of those scars.

There are different brands available at any drugstore, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. that make stuff to reduce brown spots which work for sun damage & acne scars. Mederma for scars might work for it, don't know.

I still think there are over the counter products that would help. Try a google search. Aveeno has a new product out, among many others.

The best way is to see dermatologist before it gets worse.

For acne you can use toothpaste.

For acne scars you can bleach them with lemon. Sunbathing also helps. I've tried both and they were effective.

the only thing I know about is that putting on a honey mascara you can get rid of the redness and moisturize your skin, it will be really soft :)
