Belly button piercing started bleeding again after 7 months?

It's been sore for a few days so I took it out a cleaned it and put it back in, I noticed there was a little puss but it was bleeding a lot. It feels a little better now.

Spray it with bactine or salt water if you can't find bactine. Like someone mentioned, it can be from clothes rubbing on it. So on top of keeping it clean, wear loose clothing, don't sleep on your stomach, stay out of pools or hot tubs... If it doesn't get better, go see your doctor and maybe you can get on antibiotics. I had an infection once and the bactine is very very helpful.

that happened to me a few weeks ago.. mine bled for like a minute. it usually means that there is an infection.. i recommend showering without it in you so the hot water and steam can fight out the bacteria

is it safe to remove it while showering if I put it back in right away? couldn't that increase the chances of an infection?

i would take it out before the shower.. and then put it back in within like 30 minutes after the shower. and after your done in the shower clean your belly button ring very well and put it back in

With rubbing alcohol, might I add. Soap and water helps but rubbing alcohol will kill anything still there

It's probably an infection. You should do a sea salt soak twice a day. Did it get caught on your clothes?
