Differences between tomboyish girls and butch girls

Many people don't know about these differences so I'm going to explain them now.

- Tomboyish girls - Typically refers to a girl or woman who exhibits behaviors and interests traditionally associated with boys. This can include preferences for sports, rough play, and wearing unisex clothing (casual, sporty, camo etc)

- Butch girls is a term that describe a woman who presents herself in a more masculine manner. Butch individuals may adopt masculine clothing, short hairstyles, and behaviors, and they often identify with a more masculine gender expression.

Tomboyish girls mostly focus on: Sports, outdoor activities, traditionally "boyish" hobbies.

Butch girls may have similar or different kind of hobbies but they focus on masculine identity.

While a tomboy may simply enjoy activities or styles associated with boys, a butch woman often embraces a specific identity that challenges traditional gender roles and norms.

In layman's speech:

Tomboyish girls are not "masculine in appearance", they don't necessarily "have short hair" (they usually have a ponytail), and they are not unattractive to most men.

Butch are women unattractive to most men, because they actually look like men.
