Do you think taking a single opioid every now and then for fun is bad?

Occassionally I will take an opioid to essentially just chill out and relax. It's only a couple times a month if that. I feel so free on it like I can finally just exist without constant negative thoughts.

You have to keep in mind drug is a drug and all of them have sideefffects as well as the potential to cause addiction.

In terms of illegal drugs you also have to keep in mind they are often mixed with something relly toxic like lead or ratfeces or lots of other stuff thats even more bad than the drug itself.

They are tested and approved and also regulated in terms of ingredients but addictio to legal prescription drugs is the biggest addiction there is, sleeping pills, nasalspray, painkillers, ...

I guess most people underestimate the dangers of prescription drugs. Espacially in the US.

And the only difference between legal and illegal is a sheet of paper telling citizens which they can buy in a pharmacy and which they can buy in a back alley.

I don't care what drugs people use. They can take whatever drugs they want it's your body your choice. The problem I have with drugs is when the person becomes disabled and destroys their body they want to take my tax money to pay for their disability.

It's your body your choice and it should your responsibility. But most people don't want to take responsibility for not maintaining healthy weight or taking drugs.

If you're motorcycle with no helmet on and you're willing to take responsibility for what happens to you and I get to keep my money then I don't care what someone does.

They can take all the drugs in the world just don't touch my money and I don't have a problem with it.

I mean, isn't that the essence of drug taking. People taking for a need to escape their thoughts and feelings? Rather, surely healthier ways of dealing with these, and self kindness, is usually what is required?

That is called recreational drug use lol. I don't mess with opioids anymore with fentyl and the like going around.
