I feel like I’m kind of asleep on Kendrick, haha. Like I know some of his stuff and generally like it, but probably more his big hits, and his older stuff. I think I like his chill stuff and that delivery, the jury is out for me on his more aggressive stuff. I’ll try to give a good listen this week, because he’s obviously all in the news with his beef with Drake, and Cole before he tapped. ADHD and Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe are kind of my ideal Kendrick songs out of what I’ve heard. Any recommendations welcome😎

Anyway…. I’m kind of weird in that I listen to music TO get angry, lmao. I like to get jacked up for my hockey games because it’s two nights a week when, even as a middle aged man, I could very easily get in a fistfight, lmfao. So I need to have the juices flowing🦍

But gangsta rap is where my heart is, lmao, and that’s my main go-to. I don’t mentally prep for a hockey game as much as I prep for a drive-by shooting😂 You should see the looks I get when I try to play this stuff around teammates, they’re like “who the fuck is this guy and what the hell is wrong with him?”😂😂😂 The more graphic and cold-blooded the depicted violence is, the more it amps me up, sorry ‘bout it😅😝
