For me it has to be sunrise.
If I look forward to the start of something rather than the end, nothing says start like a new day, watching the Sun come up. It just gives me a huge burst of energy.
The opposite is true with Sunset for me. I start to wind down and get a bit lethargic. It's only after it's completely dark that I get my second wind, and start to wake up again.
Curious though on your thoughts too @thegreenyogi

  @TommyMountainFigure I honestly love both. I live somewhere where I get to see both from my window because I live in a national park where only nature, mountains and forests surround me so I make the intention of taking in both. When I first wake up I walk to my window and open the shutters and watch the sun come up behind the mountains and in that moment that I prepare myself for the day mentally because indeed it's the beginning of a new day. In the evening I sit outside on my terrace and watch the sun dissappear and in my mind I become aware that I got through another day and I truly appreciate that and wind down. So I really love both equally. One can't exist without the other. Every cycle has a beginning and an end and it means renewal.

  @thegreenyogi Very poetic, and it makes a lot of sense too. I think had I have been asked this question before my leg injury, I might have said both as well. It's really since it happened, I've started to feel a bit caged in and tire from boredom. Hopefully though, that will pass.

  @TommyMountainFigure You're not alone. Whenever my knee plays me a trick I feel that way too. I think it has a lot to do with being a very active person because active people love to move freely and it's suffocating and terrible when we can't and we have to stay still. What's even more frustrating is that with injuries it takes the time it takes but if you're like me you don't have patience and you tend to force it. I'm sure it will improve and you will recover. 🫶

  Thank you for your belief in me, and you are so right about the whole getting impatient thing. I am pushing myself through the pain barrier (within reason) to help it along the process.

  You're welcome. I assumed that you'd be like me. I am the same and truth is you can help it along but it still takes the time it takes. But slow and steady small movements like in the way of stretching really helps too.
