Sunrise vs Sunset. Which one do you choose and why?

Both. A fun thing about being on a ship at sea is that you can catch the sunrise and sunset every day under some spectacular conditions. Same with being on a mountain peak or ridgeline.

I lived in the Caribbean for 4 years and had a clifftop home facing west. The sunsets were spectacular whether I was inside looking through a glass wall in the house or outside in the jacuzzi inside a walled compound that was open on the west facing cliff side.

Sunrise is an exhilarating start to the day. Sunset is a lazy end to the day. I like em both.

definitely sunset... I like the dark, I like the night, and every day I do look forward to it

as for the sunsets and sunrises themselves... I would say, Winter sunrises and Summer Sunsets are the very best... how about that? lol

Definitely sunsets!!
When I used to live very close to the beach (Pacific Ocean), I used to get in my car and drive to the beach and just sit there alone on the sand and catch the breath taking sunsets.

The were absolutely beautiful! Especially when they would be pink and orange, with a tinge of yellow.

God's wonderful art for us to see!

It feels like a slow exhale after a long day, a moment where everything softens. Many of my favorite food memories are tied to sunsets: sipping hot ramen in Tokyo while the sky turned orange, or eating gelato by the Arno in Florence as the sun disappeared. Sunrise is beautiful, but sunset tastes richer to me.

I'm not a morning person, so I see few sunrises.
Great sunsets are dramatic. They are like a grand finale.

I live on a west-facing hill with an amazing view, so I get to see some spectacular sunsets. Sometimes the sky is roiling with deep, fiery colors.

Honestly, it used to be sunset, because I don't like having to wake up early enough to see a sunrise generally. But the more I think about it, I think I prefer sunrises because they represent the start of a day... things to look forward to. Sunrises are the opposite... the day coming to an end.

I also find that sunrises look... larger and more grandiose generally.

Hard to choose. Generally, though, sunset.

Sunrises are great because they feel very fresh and inspiring, like they give you energy for the day ahead.

Sunsets are great because there's a sense of completion and peace, like you can relax after a good day.

I like false dawn most of all. The bush starts to wake up before actual sunrise. I like sunrise better than sunset as it is the start of your day and a good time to plan it.
