Donald Trump followers were left stranded in the California desert after a rally in the Coachella Valley over the weekend.

The rally was held at an outdoor venue where temperatures soared to over 100 degrees. Despite the intense heat, thousands of passionate Trump supporters braved the elements to hear the former president speak. During the rally, some supporters reportedly collapsed because of the stifling heat.

Prior to the event, several buses were provided to transport supporters to the rally location. However, after the rally, poorly organized transportation logistics and a lack of basic services left many attendees scrambling to find their way home, with many stranded miles from their cars after the event ended, as reported by the Times of San Diego.

The thing is I am mentally prepared for the worst possible outcome from my POV (Kamala winning).

I’m not going to riot or act deranged if that happens. I wasn’t losing my shit when Biden won in 2020. Wasn’t going around screaming “Biden supporters!” and ending relationships/friendships over politics.

But if Kamala wins I’ll most likely move away from Colorado. She’s going to bus in more illegal aliens and let fentanyl flow like a river into the United States. That crap goes all the way into the interior harming locales. Colorado is a “sanctuary state”.

Also I expect to get crushed with more state taxes. While that’s not directly because of the federal government I do know what the federal governments actions (e. g. illegal immigration) are costing state locales billions in tax revenues. So they are going to tax the local residents more. Local inflation will get much worse under Kamala too.

Moving abroad or to a more business friendly state (I run my own side business) can be one way to get around that.

I went to a Trump rally in New Hampshire in 2020. It was cold out so I wore my winter coat, long underwear and boots. I was prepared

I'm honestly asking this because I'm not familiar with the area or people there. Is that anomalous heat? We may have 3 or 4 weeks in row of 100 degree heat growing up. Still gotta walk to the store or whatever. Is this a heat wave and people are dropping like flies or is this just "reckon it's a little hot today" weather?

@BoopBoopBeep, The heat is anomalous for this time of the year. In the desert in the fall and winter, it actually gets quite cold especially later in the day. Also, people expected to be bused back to the area where they had parked which was apparently several miles from the rally where they were, but the buses that had originally brought them them there had left. So they were stuck.

The logistics of the event weren't very well planned out. I'm just saying that you should fault the people whose job it actually was to handle the logistics instead blaming the one person who almost certainly had nothing to do with arranging that kind of thing.
