I had a good time sailing a 14ft dinghy on a small lake. Have you experienced the thrill on sailing? If so what was your circumstances, how far did you go, did you sail on the sea?

as a kid I loved to sail on small sport boats... it was my parent's hobby... and I really enjoyed it...

I love boats, especially sport yachts and water in general... it's my element... but I live a few hours away from the shore and don't have enough time and money to own anything I really want to own :D

I've always been interested in boats too.
At a place my parents used to take me on day trips the lake at small sailing boats, and I always wanted to hire one, but I never knew anyone that could sail. Much later the local sailing club was holding an Open Day, and I thought this was my chance. I gained confidence and I was able to hire a small dinghy and sail around a small lake. Ok it's only my little adventure, but it was fun at the time, and I'd be more adventurous next time.

Why should you need a canoe when your parents have a boat. Would you be able to travel far, is it a sea vessel?

At one time I was interested in sailing, and I hired a 14ft dinghy. It was a lot of fun in light winds. But it's given me the confidence to be more adventurous.

It has two staterooms and a head, along with kitchen and whatnot. It is yacht class B. Can only travel off the coast 200 miles.

My parents stick to the Great Lakes, but we have been all over.

Yes, I can operate it but because it has joystick control. I can move the boat laterally, spin it in a circle, etc. all by a knob that you twist or push in the direction you want it to move. I child could operate it.

I live in an elevated (not mountainous) region, so there is zero danger of any flooding.

I should be ok too, but not the case for anyone living near a river. If it is global warming, I think it's probably from the 1900's+ period when pollution was at it's worsed.

That's amazing how big is it, and how far do you go, can you use it on the sea?

It's 21' long, not sure how wide... Probably about 10'. Its on a lake, which has a dam downstream, and upstream we can only get to one lake before the river channel gets too shallow to navigate. I would not want to take it on the sea- it doesn't even like the lake on windy days.
