I do find it strange when people say they like horrors though. They're low budget, terrible plots, terrible acting, predictable, and aren't actually scary for all the above reasons. And on the off chance that they are scary, why do you intentionally watch a movie to potentially shit your pants and give yourself nightmares? I've never understood it. Every time someone gets me to watch a horror with me, I end up feeling like I wasted my time.

Take the word "horror" out and I'm down with it. I love spending time alone. Always have, even as a child. When I was at university, I would often turn down invitations for Friday and Saturday nights and the roommates would feel sorry for me and try to set me up with someone so I wouldn't be alone on date nights. They just couldn't understand that those were the only nights I could be on my own because everyone else was out for the night.

No not at all. Horror is one of my favorite genres. I watched Terrifier 1 and 2 by myself and that one is really creepy scary. More creepy than scary though.

No it's normal. I was like this when I was younger and would still do it but there are too many distractions and not enough clearly obvious good horror movies out there right not.

An old one would be something I would do.

Yeah I've seen that not long ago with my partner we were going to go to the movies and see it but it wasn't out for long so we missed it at the movies but seen it on one of the streaming services, glad we didn't see it at the movies.

Makes sense. How better to get ourselves excited than some jump scares and good ol' screams from blood and gore. At some level paranormal drama has always been entertaining. We enjoy pushing our limits of courage.
