Well i loved. Taking g my kids you're treating my daughter the first time I took we practice. We practice knocking on the door.
And saying trick or treat. And the very first house we go to, she knocks on the door the people answer and she says Merry Christmas. It was just so cute. The next house we went to it was trick or treat and then the next house we went was happy birthday
And it was like that all night long and it was just as funny the last house as it was the first house. Because she would start to say something. Stop herself you could just watch your eyes and remind me was going around and around and around. And you would think she had it and you would hear. happy birthday and she would just bust up laughing.
Wish I had a girlfriend because dressing up for sure. But it's always been that way, kind of.
I think we were 15. To 17, still going trick-or-treating. We would always meet up at my aunt's house because she would always have a big dinner.
In the last task maybe 3 to 4 years they always have haunted houses that are really, really good and then my friends go.10 Reply

3 moOnly thing I do like about Halloween (and is the ONLY thing I do at Halloween) is dressing up to go to work. If it's not work day, nothing happens. But now I'm not American, and I find this holiday BS in Denmark - just another day for businesses to earn some money, for adults to party and for kids to eat candy.
But now scary movies are a whole year thing for me, don't even hand out candy to kids during Fastelavn - in fact I'm a grumpy mother fucker who hates the fact that children knock on my doors and sing (also during Fastelavn - our Halloween) - and NO I did not do it myself as a kid we bugged stores and companies not private citizens and I barely decorate for Christmas let alone Halloween.

I adore Halloween for the creative and imaginative aspects. Dressing up is definitely a fun part, but I especially love the spooky ambiance and artistry involved in Halloween décor. And, of course, it's a fantastic time to dive into classic horror films, with their eerie imagery and storytelling. Exploring the unique styles in makeup and costumes is also so inspiring! 🎃👻

3 moThe decorating and giving out candy to kids is great along with costuming. I think all four are equal, and when my 30 year old was little, I sewed him costumes and dragged him around the neighborhood. And when I was a kid we dressed up in costumes MY mom made and dragged around the neighborhood with MY parents. It's big deal to go to adult parties in New Orleans, too! Sewed my adult son a Tarzan loincloth about two years ago. At his request. It came out pretty great. I was proud I still had the stuff to wrangle a costume. Leopard print furry fabric! It was a hoot!
Great holiday, despite it being a weekday. And usually adults will have parties the weekend before.10 Reply

10 ReplyI like watching scary movies.
It's a cool holiday, though, most people in my country don't celebrate it.

3 moBest thing is that Halloween is only one night a year... if you ignore stores selling Halloween costumes and candy starting in the middle of summer. 😎
10 ReplyI said scary movies, but I love everything from the movies, yards and houses being decorated, haunted hay rides, dressing up, and going to parties (adult parties) 👻💀🎃

Again I'm really sorry. That's awful.
I don't like Halloween. Bad dhit happened to me in 88, 89, 90. So since then, 1991, I stay home.

Halloween isnβt my thing anymore. In fact, the last time I dressed was when I was 10 years old. I just lost interest after that.
10 ReplyNothing. It is a childish tradition.

u 3 moI've never had kids and my friends do not have Halloween parties, so it is not a celebration for me.
10 ReplyThe fact that it is the most non-woke holiday we have except maybe Columbus Day lol. No, I just like the slow changing of the leaves, the crisp apple cider, the spookiness in the air.

3 moAll of the above. But my kids are grown, no more trick or treating. We don't get many kids wanting candy, either. I live on a hill, and the candy to effort ratio is off.
