Can someone explain to me the craze that is the charcuterie board and parties that are formed around them?

As a single 30 something guy, all my married friends and seemingly single women too, it’s all about charcuterie all of the sudden, in the last couple of years. I don’t understand why it’s suddenly become a trendy thing. It’s the ultimate “keep up with the Jones’s” type shit. Like does anyone even *truly* enjoy it? Am I just not enough of a “sophisticated adult” to understand? Am I missing something?

It’s like how every young adult woman wants to travel endlessly, and “curl up with a book and a glass of red wine” on a Sunday. And it’s literally SO many of them say stuff like this. It’s kind of exhausting to see that literally everyone has the same hobbies apparently. Like who is everyone trying to impress with such basic, boring hobbies? 🤦‍♂️🤣

Don’t get me wrong traveling is super cool and I love a good trip once, maybe twice a year, but these girls must be raking in the OF money or something because it looks like they’re going in extravagant trips every couple of months.

How do you even have the time or the money? Maybe they’re all just online bots that are gaslighting all of us into oblivion, making us all think our lives should be this way. I just don’t see it… any of it!
