Funny thing, the last time I went fishing was in a video game, not real life 😂
I was playing Stardew Valley with my boyfriend, trying to perfect that tricky fishing mini-game. 🎣
We spent a whole evening competing to catch the rarest fish and sell them for upgrades to our farm and gear.
For me, virtual fishing is way more relaxing than getting up early and dealing with real bugs and cold water 😅.

I think 1993 but we caught nothing. I am not sure that was the year though. My father and I went out as part of some charter boat off the North Shore of Long Island to fish in the Long Island Sound, I believe. I say 1993 because, that August, I was living in California, but came home to visit. My parents moved to the North Shore in summer 1991. (I grew up on the South Shore where we used to go fishing in the Great South Bay or the Atlantic Ocean.) But, it could have been before that - maybe 1992 just before I moved to Los Angeles.

I haven't fished since.
