I think that you should get a rooster too so you can wake up like I do every morning. 6:30 AM he starts waking up the neighborhood.

Honestly, I’d probably go with chickens. They’re pretty easy to look after, don’t need a huge amount of space, and the cost of getting started is usually manageable. Plus, you get eggs out of it, which is a nice bonus.

Quail and rabbits can also be inexpensive, especially if you don’t have much space. But for a beginner, I think chickens are probably the easiest choice.

I totally agree with Nikki. Rabbits take the least amount of work, and breed fast. I would also suggest a couple of goats; they are sociable amongst their own kind, they are also territorial and will fight off any intruders. They also will mow your lawn for you, and can produce milk. If you start breeding the goats, you can sell them along with the rabbits for their meat.

Definitely a cat! A cat will give you love , hangout with you. They are the best! I’ve had a cat for 12 years and he’s the cutest best thing I have in my life. Boys are usually nicer and it might be a little expensive at first when they are baby’s but after all the vaccinations and neutering. The only thing you really have to pay for is food and litter and they will make you super relaxed

That would be a cat. You just need to make sure they have food, water and a litterbox. They take are of themselves
