Because how can they just afford so much of it or buy the newest/recent thing of their favorite hobby?
Like the newest games, newest album, Trading cards. etc

Like i can barely afford my K-Pop hobby! I’m not from Korea so Albums and stuff are so expensive. And my favorite group has like collectible digital trading cards on an app they made and it’s pretty expensive.

Not necessarily rich, but having hobbies does require something many people lack: time, energy, and sometimes disposable income. When you're busy trying to make ends meet, even something as simple as enjoying a hobby can feel like a luxury. Some hobbies are practically free, but having the time and mental energy to pursue them is a privilege in itself.

No it is indeed a hobby. Mine is trying to replicate my fave foods from restaurants. It’s very challenging
