Hero - Again, used sparingly it's fine. But another word that tends to get thrown out more often than not and loses the impact it has/had.

You gave some good examples. "Karen", "boomer", and "game-changer" make me cringe. I get why people say them, but they are almost all used incorrectly on the wrong people anyway.

For example, I'm a Gen-Xer, but on Twitter when someone decided to tangle with me, and then gives me the big kiss-off, they'll say "Okay boomer". Like, come on. I'm so obviously not between the ages of 56-74. Get your generations right.

As for "Karen" again, I get called this (more so on Twitter) when people are just disagreeing with me. It's never because I've ever said "Get your manager" or gave some opinion that had a sense of entitlement (because I don't), and I absolutely do NOT have the haircut. I got called Karen just a few weeks ago for voicing my support for the Cleveland Indians changing their team name. If that's what a Karen is -- just blanketing any woman who one disagrees with, then they ought to change all the Karen memes online so we Karens can be clear what we are. ;)

And I just hate the trendy use of certain words. "Game changer", "weekend warrior" -- way overused and I'm just tired of. Lastly, anyone who uses the word "literally", because more often than not, what they're describing isn't actually literal.

It's different from the term "nice guys", which is used for men who are nice to women in order to get sex (which should also be renamed, because it makes actual nice guys look bad). Maybe I haven't seen the whole story of it, but that's what it looks like to me. I see it spammed all over comment sections whenever anybody compliments anything about a woman.

"Karen" will pass just like "Kyle" was meme'd out before it and now never used. "Slut" and "Simp" will stay, but I don't see that as a bad thing. Take "Slut" for example, its word that may have unintended benefits. I. e. you wear revealing clothing and your girl calls you out for it. From my experience as a guy, I tend to lose interest in girls whom make it too easy and at most put up with her until we smash.

"Simp" has a simillar benefit for guys. I've unfortunately met guys who'd for instance pay for a girl's OF account, or better yet act as a moderator on a girl's twich account. These men get no benefits other than the hope that one day the girl will acknowledge them, which rarely ever happens. This will happen more often than you'd expect and a girl would never say: "hey, I know you're moderating my twitch for free, so here's compensation." Girls would just accept the behavior and the guy would make no progress in his pursuit, so it takes another guy to say, "hey man, stop simping" for him to revaluate the point of his actions.

First off, you wouldn't even hear it if we all threw away out TVs. But since that ain't gonna happen any time soon cuz the sheeple like to be told what to think, I wouldn't mind if they got informed by looking up the science and the 10 years of research and brain studies etc. behind the Wim Hof Method, then started practising what has been proven to work, started conscious control of their immune system and stopped getting sick from everything, Covid included. Then all this silliness in the world with lockdowns and masks would be over in a week. (That's how long it takes to learn the techniques properly.)

First thing I did in the new year was to have my cold shower, then put on my shorts and went for a walk in the freezing foggy streets. The pavement was slippery. All car windows frosted over. Not a soul in sight. I saw one car in the distance. I haven't been sick in years. Used to be sick a lot. Much like Evan Carmichael. This virus or maybe another will be the motor behind the next mass extinction, this time humans only, it's time for natural selection to start doing its job. I'd say Alpha and beta for categorising men is something I'd like to see gone.
I agree with the Karen usage as well, it's come to a point where some girl is judged because her name is Karen even if she's a sweet person, the actual "bring me the manager" types should be called busy-bodies or something.

As for simp, people need to understand what it actually means. Cause a lot of people online calls guys simp for simply being nice to women or actually treating them well, that's not a simp. Simp is someone who tries to please others constantly at the expense of their own self respect.
