Do you think people who have Birthdays on Christmas Day get gypped when it comes to gifts?

One of the ladies I see was born just midnight on Dec 26th, 1980. This year I will not be in the US. As I stated in another comment I don't give gifts and people that know me don't give me gifts. What I do in this case is take her to a nice restaurant and enjoy a meal with her. If I were a gift-giver I would be careful to separate Christmas from birthday. What's even worse than this are situations where children have birthdays so close together they get parties at the same time. A couple I have known for years had two daughters both born in the first week of March 4 years apart. The husband was telling me the baby daughter and her mom were almost screaming at each other a few hours before. She chose to go spend some time with a good friend of hers during that Saturday of "their" party. I looked my friend right in the eyes and said you MUST stop combining those birthday celebrations. Either separate then or stop doing them at all. The wife got angry at me and stopped speaking to me for years. She did finally open up contact again, but that baby daughter today is almost 40 and still is cold and distant toward her mom. My friends today are divorced, both remarried. She lives in California and he lives in Texas. The girls live in Ohio and Florida now. NO, a frickin birthday party is not why all 4 of them live in 4 different parts of the country now. However, the lack of communication that caused it was why! Birthdays and Holidays that are close together can be a land mine.
A good mates birthday is December 25th, he has his birthday in August, just so he can have presents and a party etc.
started it when we were in same class in primary school and he’s just kept it going
Yeah they do, even if they get extra gifts... Kinda hard to have a birthday party of everyone celebrating Christmas with their family... My younger daughter was born on the 28th of December, smack dab between Christmas and New Year's and it was hard to have parties or sleepovers for her unlike my older daughter who has August birthday. So I imagine it'd be worse on actual Christmas day
I know right. My birthday in in January so it's far enough away thank god Ha
So you gotta birthday coming up soon? Mine's not till July, but I'mma be hitting the big 50😱 lolol
The big 50 wow... I will be hitting the big 51 ... Yikes
Eh age is but a number, right? Lol
My birthday is in January and I feel like people always opt to either do a Christmas gift OR a birthday gift. So I can imagine that some Christmas babies feel that way. I have an uncle and a goddaughter that are Christmas babies and neither of them ever feel slighted. My goddaughter is having a party tomorrow and my uncle always gets double gifts.

That's why I only do anal last week in march first week in April. Just in case contraception fails
Ha ha ha
Some do, some don't. My cousins bday is the day after Christmas. His parents didn't give him as many presents. They just gave him one of his Christmas presents as a bday gift.
I was lucky. My bday is a few days before Christmas My parents had a $100 limit for Christmas gifts. Then a $20 limit on birthday gifts. So they just bought $120 worth of gifts and then gave me one of the gifts on my bday and the rest on Christmas.
No my friend always used to get big presents.
Those weren't born on Christmas day but close to it, they used to get one present and often not very big ones.
Makes for better parties. Who cares about the number of gifts if your birthday stands alone of a holiday or not.
without a fucking doubt!!! my birthday was last week and I got shafted
Happy belated birthday man. lol
@coachTanthony ty bro!
It happens generally for people whose bdays are on December 🤣 I know it. My grandpa gave me pocket money and told me it's for your bday name day and Christmas. All on December. I dont care though.
Yes and No. No one forgets to get them a gift, which is a Positive, but they only get one gift instead of two if their birthday was on some other day, which is a Negative.
lol, they do sometimes. My daughter’s birthday is the 23rd but we try to keep the two separate
I've always been glad that my birthday falls on vacation days... when everyone would be away for the summer and never around, lol...
Probably when they are younger. Tapers off as you get older.
Mine is Christmas Eve, I don't bother with gifts other than getting them for myself, get a few cards and I go out for a good meal a few weeks earlier
Yes, I know people thst do and they say that when they were kids they definitely got ripped off.
If I was born on Christmas I would just celebrate my birthday the next month. It's not like people will care.
100%. My brother has a birthday on New Years Eve and he's suffered his whole life from this, so it has to be worse for people actually born on Christmas.
Yes I do & just reminded me I have a friend I think is day after
I do I mean they don’t get their own day. Though I have an uncle with birthday on April 1st just bad.
Yes. They get gypped big time.
