How do you feel about giving gifts for Christmas?

I love giving gifts. I will give all that I can to family, friends, co-workers, and more because it just brings me joy to give!

I will buy Christmas gifts for my immediate family/boyfriend/girlfriend only.

I give gifts to immediate family, and a few close friends/coworkers, boyfriend/girlfriend.

I celebrate Christmas but I don't believe in giving gifts.

I do not celebrate Christmas at all and do not participate in giving gifts

I feel... socially and culturally coerced into participating.

My dear ones here are two dogs, two Buddhist ladies. So it's no issue to skip the consumerist part of a once Christian celebration.

I do celebrate though with my own Christmas ''tree'' - that's my gift to myself.

I know this probably sounds strange but my favorite turn on is giving lots of gifts to women who have a boyfriend or male lover and are clearly unavailable to me.

i don't like it. i feel embarrassed receiving gifts. i wish i could tell people please don't get me gifts without being rude. i also don't like spending money on gifts. i don't know what people want or what they already have or if they'll even like it or use it.

Have not exchanged gifts for many years , who wants useless junk? Its just wayyyyy overdone and two commercial , we have not done gifts for 30 plus years , its great once you take gifts out of it.

I just buy gifts for my wife and kids. Everyone else gets gift cards or a check

The older I get, the more I'm on board with this. Just go to the local grocery store the day before and buy up the giftcards or now, honestly, Amazon does the work for you, just send it to their email and be done. No wrapping, no waste, and thankfully, never gotten complaints about the gift being "too impersonal."
