Am I the only one who doesn’t enjoy getting gifts on special days?

Valentine’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. they all feel like ‘the calendar made me act like I care’ gifts.
Unexpected gifts mean more.

Well for me, I do both. I give gifts of occasions and randomly when I want to too.

I just wish people did that to me too.

I get very few presents from anybody except my brother, bosses, and a couple friends. So when I do get them, it's appreciated.
