Every year my husband and I argue about the tree lights. I'm the one who puts them on the tree and he says there are too many. Can there really be too many lights on the tree?

From a consumerist's point of view there can never be enough (or too much) of anything.

Personally, I find that a lack of style cannot be compensated by outnumbering the reasonable. Sorry.

In my own family we always had 24 candles (yes: real ones) - symbolizing the 24th of December.

Overdone Christmas decoration - my view - will reduce the spirit of Christmas to a mere spectacle.

I don't have a theme. We just have lots of old and some antique type ornaments... All are different.
