Well if you are working for her I don't know if you have much of a choice. Maybe sit her down and see if the two of you can come up with something you both are ok with the worst is she'll say is no.

Asker+1 yThat is helpful thank you 🙏
Asker+1 y@XXblack88 Her parents came over and bought their House Maid to help me. She is a white girl too and wearing the same Dress, so I am going to wear the dress even if I look ridiculous.
Asker+1 yXXblack88 she said I don’t have to wear it anymore because she is getting me a regular Maid Dress, not sure what that will look like
Asker+1 y@xxblack88 you were right, it wasn’t too bad

Asker+1 yI think she wants to embarrass me
Asker+1 yOr maybe she wants to show her friends how important she is having her own House Maid?
Asker+1 y@Hafia_xo I sent you a message

How can that possibly be true if her mother is making HER maid wear the same outfit? I really think you are way over thinking this.

@CrazyGirl2 what r u talking about? U don’t make sense bye
- +1 y
She wrote above, when writing to @jennz6 and XXblack88 that “ XXblack88 Her parents came over and bought their House Maid to help me. She is a white girl too and wearing the same Dress, so I am going to wear the dress even if I look ridiculous.”
THAT is what I was writing about. There is no need to be rude when someone is trying to help you and give you context you didn’t know. - +1 y
@CrazyGirl2 Jen is my friend. She already explained her situation to me. You didn’t have to interfere so mind ur business thank you sweetie

@OlderAndWiser hit the nail on the head with this one. His item number 2 is the most important, unfortunately. This is what your employer wants and unless there's something sexual about it, then I think you roll with it, grit your teeth and do it. Then, after the holiday, you have the opportunity to find work where you don't have to wear the uniform.

u +1 y1. She is wanting to be pretentious and put on airs in front of her guests. Stupid? Yes.
2. She is your employer and she sets the terms and conditions of employment. Yes, you are her servant and you feelings about this matter are irrelevant.
3. As stupid as it is. . . this, too, shall pass.
30 Reply Tell her it's not Halloween or the 1800's anymore and that's humiliating. Tell her how about you just wear some nice looking normal clothes like all the other maids these days, and if she doesn't like that then she can go fuck herself with a cactus.

Asker+1 yI did, and she said that it is just Holiday spirit
Since you're working for her, you don't have many options. You'll have to wear it even if you don't like it.

Asker+1 y@menina thank you for your advice
Asker+1 y@menina you were right, I didn’t have any other options.
It’s just for one day. It shouldn’t be that bad.

Asker+1 y@Flower7 I know, you’re right. I just need to be positive.
Asker+1 y@flower7 as it was for one day, it wasn’t too bad really. Thank you for your support.

Boooóo
Asker+1 y@20yearsolder If I have to wear it, I don’t want any pictures, it will just be so humiliating and embarrassing for me to be Her Maid
- +1 y
Understandable. You could just put it on long enough to take a pic LOL
Asker+1 yNo pictures but I’m probably gonna have to wear it
+1 yShe probably thinks you are beautiful. So if you wear a maid outfit people will stay away from you and not be sexually attracted easily.

It looks like 19th century dress 😅
Take out your contract and read it. If cosplay or "dress code" is not on there, then tell her

+1 yYou shouldn’t have to wear anything that you don’t want to. If you feel it is inappropriate then file a complaint with the EEOC, or a state or city employment agency.
10 ReplyMaybe she doesn't want hwr guests to see you as part of her family
but she is your boss,, how would you refuse it if you wanted to13 Reply
Asker+1 yI’m not sure? I guess I can’t refuse without being fired

Asker+1 yThe only other job that I ever did was being a Topless Dancer and striper and I was trying to get away from that but I never graduated high school and don’t have any experience so I took this job because it is easy just cook cleaning and laundry
