Colleague didn't say goodbye before leaving for the holiday?

A colleague came in to my office to pass on some work-related information five minutes before she was going to leave for her Christmas vacation, and afterwards she just left without wishing anyone Happy Holidays, or even saying a goodbye. Is she self-centred, or was it actually one of us who should have wished her happy holidays and//or said goodbye as she walked out the door? I guess at the very least, I found out that I'm not on her mind as much as she is on my mind.

They call that the "Irish goodbye" and I am guilty of this all the time since I'm Irish. To me I just don't want to make a big deal about good-byes and I'd feel like I'm drawing attention to myself which I hate. It has nothing to do with the other person just my own feelings.

There could be a variety of factors that may have led to this. Them being self centred doesn't even make up the major percentage.

You maybe looking too much into it. Don't worry!
