What's your favourite part about Christmas?

I love to spread joy often through baked goods and/or candy.

I'll make bunch of cookies and candy, gift wrap it & sign it with that days particular yulelad. In Iceland we've the yulelads, they're 13 and they're our version of the Santa - so this I do for 13 days. I love that my friends and mother now put a shoe outside their door where I can put it since they're delivered either REALLY late or early. 😅 - Also known for giving a potato (if a friend has been annoying me)

Giving gifts 😄 I love going all out on presents. Not expensive ones like cars and jewellery, but I focus on what my loved ones desire most and find the perfect objects to suit them. It's the best way to show you love a person without telling them :)

Last year I gave my boyfriend a photo album of all the dates we've had with a little blurb beneath the pictures to explain them. He has an awful memory, so he got to relive everything we've done

Decorating, and of course, time off work!

Otherwise, I'm not enjoying it like I used to: I hate spending money on gifts (everything is so high!), and ungrateful people pretending like they care because it's the holidays... ugh.

I love giving gifts! My favourite thing to do - however people do have to "suffer" with handcrafted gifts, which isn't always cheap. Had a lot of requests for socks this year. 🥲

My wife and I have a tradition that started when my kids were little. After we'd get them to bed we would turn on the fireplace, some soft music, and drink some wine while looking at the tree and reflecting on the year.

i'm serious. Christmas does not hold any happy memories for me. i don't understand why people love it so much. i hope one day i'll have a happy Christmas memory, or any happy holiday memory, but right now i can't wait until it's over.

Family. We are spread throughout Europe, so when Christmas is close, we meet in different locations to share presents and time together.
