What do you cook on Christmas?

Generally, a spiral-cut honey-baked ham, scalloped potatoes, various veggies, King's Hawaiian dinner rolls, and pies.

Occasionally I'll host a bunch of people over Christmas, so I'll also cook a turkey and do some mashed potatoes and turkey gravy so people can choose one or the other or mix and match, but that's only every 3-4 years. One year I went rogue and BBQ'd a tri-tip roast instead. That's more typically summer meat, but there were no complaints and it was completely gone before anyone had a chance at seconds, so, I guess it worked out.

If it's an extended family gathering, ham, green beans, macaroni and cheese, squash, biscuits, and a cake and a pie of some variety. New Year's Day lunch is ham, collard greens, rice, black eyed peas, and pecan pie; except for the ham, we avoid doing any of those dishes at Christmas.

We have brown sugar pineapple ham, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls, sweet potato casserole, and pies. Then a bunch of cookies and other sweets that my relatives bring over. I especially love my aunt's cookies and pb fudge.

we... cook everything, from the traditional American Christmas, North of Mexico Christmas, the rest of Mexico Christmas... and just for the fun of it, every year we include a new  random  dish to the feast (something that we've never tried before) ... lol
