Are red nails with white snowflakes too gaudy during the holiday season?

I have always worn just red polish during the holiday season. This year, I am tempted to do something different. I would like to wear white snowflakes on the red polish. Is this too gaudy and overdone or not?

Oh man I dunno, red nails with white snowflakes does sound kinda extra. Like it's the holidays so you want to look festive, but that might be taking it a bit far. Girls do all kinds of crazy nail art these days though, so who am I to say? I'd worry people might be staring at your hands more than your face. But on the other hand, if you really like it and think it's cute then screw what anyone else thinks! As long as you feel confident rocking it, that's all that matters. Maybe do a trial run and see how you feel wearing it around the house. If you get self-conscious, then play it safe with just the red. But if you love it, say screw the haters and do you! At least it's just for a season. You could also do a simpler design if the snowflakes seem OTT. Either way, you'll look festive and fly babe!
