Why do you hate Christmas?

I don't. I DO, however, think we need a wider range of carols. If "Jingle Bell Rock" is as, um, "rocking" as they get, then it's even worse than I thought, and we need some heavy metal anthem where Santa Claus teams up with Budai to battle the Krampus and Dracula.
Come to think of it, we need that anyway.
Christmas is the holiday when most people commit suicide. Split families, loneliness, not being able to provide or any of the other numerous flaws in someones life feels so much more potent at times when you compare it to how you expect Christmas to be. Of all my friends I'm one of the few who gets a happy Christmas but I really suffer for those who can't bring themselves to go through all the fuss of celebrating alone.
I don’t like it because it’s a very capitalistic holiday. And in this economy I don’t want to waste money or see relatives I barely see to just feed them and then for them to leave. It’s just another day to me.

It was never a great time as a child, I'm not Christian, I always worry about what to give people. I would rather just skip the whole thing.
Over commercialized holiday. Where again people pretend to care about each other but we still don’t really care in this westernized society. So I step back from all of that.
Well, I hate religion. So bad start.
Hate family.
Hate hardcore consumerism-whilst thinking you’re being traditional.
