I don’t hate it but I can understand some people the holidays including Christmas are hard. When people don’t have a family because of loss or they got disowned by their family. The list goes on as well as people who have families that just ruin holidays like Christmas.

I don't hate it, I do not like the way it is handled as a holiday where you just buy gifts for everyone and get together with family and friends. That last part is not bad of course, but the point of Christmas is to celebrate Christ's birth, to be as kind as He was or at least try to be, and to feel thankful to celebrate with family and friends.

Now, I hate to say it bit for years I've felt it's nothing more than a spending spree holiday.

I wouldn't say hate. It used to be my favourite time despite having a miscarriage on Christmas day one time so I always feel a little private sadness remembering.

But my teens don't want to be involved or do anything at all the past couple of years so I haven't bothered at all this year. Which actually I'm quite happy I won't have to find time taking Dec's away and tidying up!

I don't hate it. I'm Jewish, but, I tolerate it. When my grandparents were alive, they were devout roman catholic. They knew I was Jewish, and they respected that, something I wish more CHRISTIANS WOULD LEARN TO FUCKING DO.

Anyway, I played nice, and sort of "celebrated" for them, but, once they passed, I've not been, as I was always MEANT to do

Me, but it's mostly the insipid music. I'm not much for visiting stores so it doesn't bother me much. I do have a couple of favorite holiday songs:

"White Wine in the Sun" by Tim Minchin, and "The Hanukkah Song" by Adam Sandler.

I used to hate it. I had to get to a point in life of forgiving and reconciling with a lot of people that I didn't think it would be possible for me to forgive.

But once I did that I was able to enjoy Christmas.

If you have kids it's a blast when they grow up and they're on their own Christmas is just Christmas another day

Its been commercialized so long. It was all about business and presents since around the '40s. Maybe before that too. Hence the movie miracle on 34th St which came out in 1947.

It celebrates the birth of my savior and as a bonus I get some fun gifts. I also get to spend time with my family and there are the songs, cookie, snow, trees, etc. Why would anybody hate Christmas?

“Hate” is strong word. I avoid applying it to anything or anyone. I’d find whatever is joyful about Christmas and go with those. Peace is very rewarding.
