I got a few peeps in mind I haven't hollered at in forever. Used to ball with this one dude til we both got busy with life - think I'll shoot him a "Merry Christmas G, remember the good times" type text.

And this girl I had a crush on freshman year, last I heard she was married with kids now. Might send her a "Hope you and the fam are well" and see what she's been up to.

You're right, no time like the present to let bygones be bygones. We're all getting older, life's too short to leave old ties on bad terms over nothing, ya feel?

The acid test for me if I determine this person has any real respect for me or not. Once I determine they never respected me the bridge is and always will be burned.

I have a former female friend who ghosted/blocked me 5 years ago and tried to reconnect via LinkedIn. I was initially pleasant because I wanted to see what she wanted to say. But she acted like nothing was wrong. That infuriated me because it was resounding proof she had no respect for me.

I called her out on her bs. Blocked her and will never look back. She’s done now and forever.

But the only big mistake I made was cussing her out. It would of been better just to blocked her and said nothing. But I will only do that to someone if they block me first.
