I am a Physics grad student in one of the Ivy's and have two different master's degrees before this.
I have more bookish and artistic hobbies like book collecting, painting, writing short stories and poetry, crafting, and playing the violin. Always worked with the local animal shelters from a very young age in every city I have liked in the past. I can easily manage animals and enjoy their company.
My cooking skills are particularly great... I can cook complex different European, Asian, Mexican, and Indian food better than professional chefs and know a lot of historical recipes that only a handful of people may know. I have collected some of the cookbooks that are centuries old.
I am generally nice and a little shy with women, not much of a frequent party-going person. I am rather short (5'5"),135 pounds, and never had a girlfriend so far. I was having a hard time finding what's wrong with me or if is there anything to change. Every guy or girl I know always had multiple loving relations before and it seems everyone has someone to love this Christmas time.

What Girls Said
You sound great maybe a little pretentious but that can be worked on
Not pretentious, just giving out a picture... as you have to fit everything in a post
I understand it's more in the way you're saying it "better than professional chefs" particularly this. Not really necessary to say at all. But that's fine you sound like a lovely guy
I am particularly proud of that skill, I have worked hard to learn cooking for a long time, translated recipes from different languages, and learned from native people from different areas.
That's great but bringing other people down to make yourself look better isn't a good look 😊
Ohh it was just a figure of speech, not about anyone particular.
Anyways these don't matter. In reality, no girl I have met thinks someone like me as great, only a weird nerdy guy.
Yeah, if I knew more about your personality and how you interact with me.
Can you elaborate on "personality "... like exactly what?
That is hard to really define. So basically what I mean is if you tick a bunch of positive boxes, that is great. If you don’t have a similar personality, then that is a problem.
Example is that I am outgoing and talkative. I don’t want someone that is going to be on the introverted side. I also don’t like people that have jealousy issues.
I like to have my freedom to go out with the girls on campus and not have him thinking I am up to something. So many more things but that is something we would figure out if it works or not after a few dates.
Okay... to be fair as I said I never had a girlfriend before so I am still clueless about a lot of things. I think I will not have a problem if anyone wants to go out with their friends, but personally, I will have not much time as my research is also very demanding.
If you don’t have much time for a girlfriend, why bother asking if we would date you?
I can give her time preferably more on weekends but as a graduate student, I still have to work a lot. So a girl has to be understandable about such.
You want to find someone with a similar situation (post grad) that will be able to understand and give equal time.
Who’s your dream girl describe her looks
I love taller girls but don't know whether they will like a short guy (shorter girls are also fine). Must be kind and animal lover... perhaps a little nerdy who loves learning and books, not too much party girl type, hair blonde or redhead
