This is the year I’m hosting family from far away for the holidays. Some have arrived for Thanksgiving already. Others will soon be arriving for Christmas. It’s gonna be a very full house until the day after New Year.

So far, we’ve all been gaining weight from all the parties and the outings. I predict one of my bank accounts will drop to alarming levels but I won’t complain because I’m glad my loved ones here with my family and I can easily earn more than we’ll be spending.

Christmas Eve singing with my church choir at midnight service, going to sleep with my arms around my wife, cooking Christmas dinner for my mother, stepfather, nephew, brother, sister-in-law, and of course my wife. Going on a 9 day cruise mid-January.
