Listen to lots of Danzig, Mayhem and Slayer. Tells stories about Lucifer's glorious rebellion. Getting upside down cross tattoos this year and plan to summon a 7000 year old cacodemon. Listen to Sympathy For The Devil at high noon as goes our tradition here at 138 Horror Hotel Lane.
Other than that we'll eat a good meal. No, not from the chickens we sacrifice, but stuff from the Kroger store. We exchange gifts and the kids like to think Satan brings them gifts. Did I say Sat- I meant Santa. As in Santa Clause, the fat man with reindeer. We'll feed the hellhounds. Here, I may have a picture of one. Nope, won't work.
Well I am King Edgelord, we may do some f#ck#d up s*** , other than that we're just like you, only perhaps a little slower (with the rent). Note the asterix, can't say I don't have any manners. SATAN!!! is one very naughty host of heaven. Last of all I mean part of a little bit of wisdom on you, Christmas music sucks. For somebody to Bear the sins of man humankind has done one terrible job at coming up with music for his birthday. I mean silent night it's just off. Jingle bells are you kidding me? 12 Days of Christmas oh I got a version of that true navigate to me on 8 ball of cocaine for Grandpa heroin on a submarijuana 20 Xanax bars and some black beauties from the 1960s!!00 Reply

My wife and I don't have any nearby relatives. We have friends, but they spend time with their families on Christmas Eve.
Quite a few years ago, we found a good steak house. It's one of the few restaurants in the area that's open on Christmas Eve.
It's cozy. They have good steaks, some seafood, and salad bar. They cook everything on big grill in the center of the restaurant.
There is an attached bar, but we usually bring a good bottle of wine. Their corking fee is $5 if they charge anything at all.
Going there became a tradition.
This year, we have reservations for 6:00. Two of my wife's single friends are joining us this year.
Afterward, my wife and I spend the evening together and we have a quiet Christmas day in our warm, happy home with our cat and bunny. We usually watch a couple of movies.12 Reply
1 yI'll be celebrating Christmas with my mother and brother.
I'll be arriving in the morning (after shower) and in PJs in the morning, then there is presents from Kertasníkir (last yulelads/Santa) followed by breakfast. Then a couple of Christmas movies - card games, start food around 13:00, we sit at 18:00 and eat for about 2 hours - followed by Christmas music (and more eating) + opening up gifts. Even thought it's only the 3 of us - then I've bought some small presents that we can wrap up the evening with some dice games.

Crazy enough i have a doctors appointment at the hospital on Christmas eve. After that we will be eating dinner, putting on our Christmas pjs, driving around to look at lights then leaving out a treat for Santa 🎅 🎄

u 1 yThroughout the day, it's just a lot of hanging around eating, hanging out, and watching Christmas movies. Later on, we have this barley soup (I've never liked it) and sing Christmas carols, which I also never much cared for it, but it's worse now that we're no longer traveling to Chicago for Christmas. Why? Because now we're doing it over Zoom, which makes it even worse.
The last couple of years, we've taken a short nap and then gone to Midnight Mass.

1 yFirst, I lead a grand procession through the scorching caverns of my workshop, where the sinners, or elves as you call them, are paraded before me, showcasing their best creations - the instruments of torment designed for the naughtiest of sinners. Each elf, adorned in their sluttiest finest attire, presents their latest inventions: instruments of pain, crafted with care and malice, for the pleasure of their dark lord.
Then I feast on the screams of the @horn_hog people of this damned world, feasting on a banquet of sins, while the flames of hell lick at the edges of my table. The air crackles with the scent of burning flesh, roasted chestnuts, and the demonic laughter of the damned. I dine on roasted eternity, forgotten hope, and heart-blackened filth, savoring every bite as I revel in their suffering.

Just before they call you Edgelord just go ahead and embrace the term. When I first was called that I had to look it up and I felt snubbed and shocked, defeated if you will. I was shocked, devastated.. and I thought how terrible that I got called that.
But then I started to think you know what do you do when someone calls you something derogatory, well you do what black people did. You know the word, even edgelords of Satan don't dare say that forbidden. Rather go to hell twice than he called the R word.. but yea take edge lord and you embrace it and you make it your own. It's brilliant.

51 ReplyLarge family gathering. Spanish food, deserts, music. When our kids were young we would come home and open one gift. Attendance is dropping as the older generations are passing, but it is still holding up so far!
