I'm not a New Year's resolution kinda guy. I take care of things when they need taking care of. There's nothing magic about January 1st.

And honestly, back when I was in Private Equity and using the gym in our office tower every day, it was flipping hilarious to watch 50 new people show up in early January and watch that dwindle to the same 15 regulars who worked out 2-4 days per week by the end of February. There was no commitment. People didn't change their lifestyle. It was just repetitive failure year after year which probably fueled rebound weight gain.

Nah, New Year's resolutions are meaningless 95% of the time.

I do not do New Years resolutions. I hate it when all the new Years resolution people show up at the gym until the middle of February.

i don't do new years resolutions cause they're litterally bullshit. if you need motivation to change something for the better in your life, what you need is a very good answer to the question: "why do you wanna do it?". if the answer to that question doesn't convince you, you're not gonna do it. just picking a random date to do it is not gonna help you. you'll stick to it for 2-3 weeks and then you'll stop doing it cause you won't do anything for longer than that if you're not actually motivated.

I don't do those. Why do we have to wait until New Years to make one in the first place? Plus I have read that most people fail to comply with them after a few months?
