When you give a gift to someone else, do you expect a favor in return?

1) How long have you known him
2) How much money does he have (As in, does he have enough money to not think twice about how "expensive" these gifts are)
3) All humans expect something from giving a gift. The difference is what. People that are close to you will pretty much always expect you to appreciate it and stay close to them. ANYONE could expect sexual favors, but very few do.
