If you give someone a gift as a confession, but they aren’t interested in you, do you taka the gift back?

Giftcards are the worst form of gifts. You shouldn't be doing them. If your so lazy you can't find a gift just give them cash and they can buy from anywhere. You still show you don't know them or care enough at least let them keep their freedom of choice of where to buy.
