me too in selfies i look great, in back camera when someone takes pics of me i always get ugly LOL how come?
I definitely have this problem. Not the most photogenic. I've been told I look much better in person.

No, it's not lying. Put someone else in front of a mirror and you'll notice. The only difference is that mirrors flip the image: so your left side of the face is actually the right side of the face in real life, but that doesn't change the way we look
@Bamaty Wrong! It changes the way you look... For symetrical reasons... For example, in the mirror, one of my teeth is longer than the other one, but in reality they're the same...
vsauce explained this happens cuz we're used to seeing ourselves flipped horizontally in a mirror but photos don't flip our image horizontally so in them we see ourselves as others see us.
But photos are not a real representation of how we look to others... Photos are a 2d image which is affected by the lens size in the camera (depth of field), angle and lighting.

Reals is so much better than enhanced and posed for pictures to me.
Beauty is totally up to the beholder. Im cursed with finding something good in every photo. :)

honestly, if you're happy with how you look in the mirror, it shouldn't matter how you look on photos.
i no the probs, some of us aren't photogenic and there's fuckall we can do about it. lol
