Are hardships only glorified when they’re balanced by benefits?

Sad that there are parents out there who think that raising kids in a harsh environment will "magically" make them stronger. They end up having to deal with the emotional abuse. I'm glad that you... Education & Career

Is paying $120 for someone to do my taxes a rip-off?

If it was a simple tax year for you, then that is a bit much. Less expensive to file yourself. OK if you had a lot of stuff to enter. Education & Career

I commuted when I was in community college, but lived on campus when I was at a university. It was great living on campus and getting to know so many people. Education & Career

Have you ever DISPUTED an EXAM question?

In college there was a class that pretty much everyone considered to be among the hardest. After a test, I thought that it was hard and I'd be happy with a B. Two days later the professor said... Education & Career

Not toxic behavior. She apologizes for her lack of patience, and that she appreciates your help. She sounds like she is just stressed out from the job really. Education & Career

What do you think about the profession of a comedian?

It would be great if you can be successful at it. That is something that I'd like to do but I know I'm not "quick" enough to handle an audience, etc. Be sure to have a well paying "day job"... Education & Career

Would my boss, and co workers have a reason to lie about my performance?

That is great that you have a boss and co-worker who understand that you are new and are giving you a thumbs up for a good job. I didn't have that starting out in the job market. Education & Career

What's one 'boring' career that's actually a goldmine if you play it smart?

For me, it would be "painting contractor"... I would not like a career in home painting or heading up painting projects. Boring to me. Although I don't mind small painting projects at home. Education & Career

Do ya think its weird when people graduate college at later ages (25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30+)?

I don't think it is weird at all. Some people can't go to college right out of high school due to life circumstances, or they decide to go to college later. Education & Career

Is ''standing in the corner'' as punishment at schools still used?

Yes that was unfair for that teacher to make you stand in the corner just for that. I mean we all giggle at things and find humor in ironic situations. I remember in the 3rd grade, a guy in my... Education & Career

What is a good reason to tell a recruiter when they ask you the reason why you’re leaving your current employer for them?
