Other than dangerous jobs, should child labor laws, that were passed to protect unions from lower wage child labor, be abolished?

Child labor laws were passed to protect the health of children and to ensure that they received an education rather than being sent to work in the coal mines and meat packing plants at age 6. Society & Politics
