1) Its not about being compatible with marriage, it's about being compatible with a person. And pretty much all but one woman I know would do just fine in a marriage
2) I know of at least 9 marriages off the top of my head that are going beautifully, 2 of them even just had a kid. 1 is finally pregnant too. I know of 2 failing marriages, 1 failing because the guy (my coworker) cheats on his wife all the time, the second failing because the man has become an alcoholic and the wife (my coworker) is not going to continue subjecting their two children to his drunken behavior.

Its alright to be afraid of marriage, but to avoid it because of fear is cowardly.

Get rid of this idea that women are evil and you'll find that there's actually something there that's worth the effort and the risk. The benefits outweigh the risks, and I say this as the person with the most earning potential out of me and my current boyfriend.

What benefit does a marriage have that a normal relationship does not have which outweighs the risk of divorce for the man. The idea that the girl would otherwise not be with him is not a valid answer since if she truly valued him she would stay regardless.

A boyfriend doesn't have the same rights if you're unresponsive in a hospital as your husband does. There are other legal issues like that that a marriage would take care of. If I die early, I dont want my money going to my siblings, I want it to go to my husband.

You can determine all these things in many separate legal documents but why do that when you can just do it all in one doc?
