Your argument is fallacious. How did you come to this conclusion? On what basis? If two people are compatible, have similar long-term goals, and love each other, their marriage, regardless of their ethnicity can work out. It is more so about them keeping the blaze alive when their marriage goes to the autopilot mode and less about their cultures or ethnicity. Your statement is like saying: "If you marry someone from your race, you will never get divorced" which is rather daft, because they can. Familiarity does help a bit because of shared cultures and traditions, but then again, two people from the same race can have different cultures.

My parents are of the same race and their marriage was a fucked-up disaster to say the least.
