It was not that long ago that this was considered a fringe extreme left position. I guess some people just pretend they change their mind so they fit in. I personally think it’s wrong and not natural. I’m not going to change my mind because the sheep say to. There’s also a slippery slope, and it has led to even crazier things happening.
Homophobia is a cornerstone of patriarchal society, especially patriarchal societies with strong religious ties. The biggest reason same-sex marriage is only legal in 16% of the world is because of these religious influences as well as just a massive wave of homophobia and that dislike of the different. Authoritarian governments are guilty of this even without the influence of God because they want their population to breed more soldiers. The reason it's legal in the 16% of countries that do currently accept it is because they're educated on it, they know what it means to be gay and they understand that, while they themselves might not be gay, gay people exist and deserve a place at the table because they're just as human as you or I. Education needs to be more widespread, and religious colonization needs to be toned down, that way fewer deaths will happen because of homophobia or transphobia and more people can live normal lives in the way that they see as the best for themselves.

pretty sure it's expected and normal by now. of course some people don't like it, but it's not unheard of for gay people to get married.
We don't. Between the apathy that people today have towards marriage in general, despite all the "marriage protests" by people who swore they wouldn't get married until same-sex "marriage" was legalized, and the surprising backlash that the LGBT movement is apparently facing now because of how overbearing they've become, I don't see it happening. Or at least I don't see it lasting long.

A fringe extreme left position?
I guess you are one of those morons that thinks someone on the right can't be gay.
What does it matter to you?
Probably never.
