What is your opinion on cousin marriage?

I am not aware of any jurisdiction in this world where second cousin marriages are not legal. They are also not forbidden by Biblical law, and the increased risk of deleterious genetic defects is extremely low.

First cousin marriages are illegal in approximately half of the US states but are legal in most other countries. First cousin marriages are not forbidden by the Bible and the risk of birth defects is a bit higher than with second cousin couplings, but still nowhere close to the risk for sibling couplings.
